Welcome to the history site of Gamma Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Gamma Ups, as it is known to the brothers, has a long and proud history. Gamma Ups has been known around the country for decades for the Kappa Karnival held annually at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. The Karnival was one of the largest undergraduate events in the country and drew thousands of people from all walks of life. But Gamma Ups was more than the Karnival. The brothers have a long history of achievement and we wanted to share a small slice of it with you. This site is for Kappas and all our friends.
